If you're just passing thru Lima via the airport, this is a good overnight stop. It is inexpensive, clean and secure. Pick-up to and from the airport can all be arranged thru the hotel and the staff are very helpful.

It's nothing fancy but beats sleeping in the airport by a long shot.

When traveling, my standards for rooms have always been: CLEAN, SAFE and COMFORTABLE. Hostal Victor meets these standards with the following additional perks: the rooms are amazingly inexpensive, there is an extremely helpful and responsive owner, a car and driver are available for hire (cheap), pickup service from the airport is offered and breakfast is included. Dollar for dollar (Sole for Sole), this is the best hostal I have ever stayed at!!!

After a long flight and the start of a vacation in a strange city where I do not the speak the language, I definitely did not want any problems. Hotel Victor was an excellent choice. The driver was there right on time and quite helpful. The drive was only about ten minutes and late at night, the neighborhood looked a bit sketchy, but not to worry as right behind a big was the hotel. Andy was very helpful and spoke really good English. He even helped me find another hotel in the part of the city I was going to and arranged another nice driver. The amenities are nothing fancy, but it is clean and the water is hot, the complimentary coffee, rolls and eggs were also good.

Highly recommend it for something close to the airport as a safe, quiet, economical and friendly place to stay.

We stayed here for one night in Lima. Driver picked us up which was nice after a long day flying. Room was fine but had a musty smell. Breakfast was simple but good.
