Its not close to the airport, but it is in a nice area, with some shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. This was only a stopover for us, so I can't comment on anything else regarding location as we didn't venture out or do anything touristy.
This coastal area in this part of Lima is not overly attractive, there is alot of construction going on, and when that's finished it will be quite nice. The view from our large room was nice, the garden below full of sculpture and the sea beyond. It was lovely, and quiet. We had a shared balcony, but the bedroom had large french door, which could be opened up, so we didn't use the balcony.
Can't believe I didn't take any photos of the room, sorry; it was large, full of interesting art, quiet. Bed was large and comfy, bedhead made from an old cast iron fence which was cool. The bathroom is part of the room, with a dividing wall, but no door, but is very nice and spacious, the shower does not have much pressure though. Tea coffee etc all present and correct. The included breakfast was served in their kitchen, which was very cool, and it was very nice. They accommodated us having to leave before usual breakfast time which was nice. Staff were all very pleasant.
The rest of the building was very nice and interesting, full of art and sculpture. Overall I can't really fault anything, maybe the price was bit high, but not over the top. I would recommend this hotel.
Room Tip: Facing the ocean on the upper floor.
