This hotel received an average rating as there were both pros and cons
Pros:
-located across the street from the US Embassy
-several restaurants located in the shopping complex directly behind the hotel
-kitchenette in room (no microwave, but a two burner electric stove top)
-internet in room (wired, but adequate speed to support VOIP)
-hot water a plenty
-breakfast included in rate with a variety of hot/cold foods, fruits, juices
-room service food was very tasty
-laundry picked up in the morning was delivered the same evening
-Pharmax (open 24 hours) located in the shopping center sells milk, bread, water, snacks, cleaning products, medicine, pretty much everything and has a restaurant
-hotel staff was very responsive

Cons:
-windows did not keep out street noise which does not quiet down until after 9 pm
-refrigerator in room is very small and about 1/2 full of mini-bar offerings reducing usable space
-bathroom was not vented, room seemed to have a damp smell
-internet is not high-speed and not wireless
-the A/C heater unit did not seem to respond to the thermostat causing the fan to run constantly when turned on. It also seemed to blow only cold air no matter how high the thermostat was turned up

You get your money's worth and then some. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and was included in my rate. Room service was also delicious, especially the local dishes. Rooms were spacious and included a mini kitchenette. Only complaints were internet speed, the hot water temperature going from luke warm to scalding hot quickly, and the car alarms that would go off at random near the hotel. Location is decent. Quick taxi drive to Jockey Plaza that has a number of restaurants and movie theater. I would stay here again - already stayed here twice.

I would stay at this hotel again, but wouldn't be my first choice in Lima. Road between it and embassy is quite busy. The room was huge with sleeping area, sitting area, desk and kitchen. Bathroom as well was large. Had to ask for a pan to heat water. Three computers for guest use in small room with street noise.

It is located across from the American Embassy and is close to all of the good locations, such as Larcomar, Miraflores, the beaches and of course, the embassy. This hotel has an english speaking staff. The rooms are incredible! Whirlpools, cables awesome views from the rooms. The restaurant is great! Employee turnover is low, I see the same employees and they remember me (or the tips).
