This hotel was clean and comfortable with very good amenities. The room was large, with big windows that opened for fresh air and a nice city view from an upper floor ( I was on the 9th). There is a small but decent restaurant on the 11th floor that serves the included breakfast. I had a restorative meal there at 10 PM after arriving from a long flight. It was fine and much appreciated. At the time I did not realize how many excellent restaurant options were just a short (and safe) walk from the hotel. That is a huge plus. Neighborhood shopping options are good too.

Back to the hotel itself, the bed was comfortable. The cable TV was fine. The high speed internet signal was good and constant. The price was very good. The place is not fancy, but clean, functional , friendly, comfortable and located in a very good neighborhood. All the pluses mean I will become a repeat customer.

Conquistadores is in a quiet neighborhood, but not far from Miraflores where the action is. It's an upscale area with lots of good restaurants just down the street. The staff is extra-accommodating & fixes anything that isn't right immediately. The rooms are very nice with comfy beds, modern bathrooms, a tub almost big enough for two, microwave & refrigerator. Breakfast is a bit boring, same few items daily, but hey, it's included in the price, & omelets are made to order. All rooms are now non-smoking. I've stayed here on two different trips, and I would stay again!

For the average rate for this hotel, I would say you get great value: standard rooms have a separate bedroom/living room/kitchen and are spacious, clean and well-maintained (Not the trendiest room design if thats your calling, but comfy). The staff was friendly and extremely helpful with whatever I needed. The hotel is right smack in the middle of posh San Isidro, surrounded by beautiful residential streets and lovely shops, restaurants, and parks. Compared to what I saw in photos, what I got was a really pleasant surprise for my last two nights in Lima.

The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, and within 10-15 minutes from Miraflores. Surrounded by great restaurants and nice stores, is a good location. The carpets in the rooms were a bit old, and the rooms themselves were kind of worn, but it was very clean, the breakfast is pretty good and the staff very friendly. If it were a 3 star hotel, it would be outstanding. Good wireless internet access on the rooms.
