I stayed in this hotel for one night, from 1/12/12 to 1/13/12. I'm giving the rating of very good only if you get a room-rate below $90 and for its location otherwise Miraflores has more to offer when comes to hotels.
The Location is quite, comercial and residencial with some restaurants, bars, coffee places (incl. starbucks) and a very good supermarket name Vivanda (peruvian wholefood) all in walking distance.
The hotel facilities are ok, lobby, reception area and small bar. I only had breakfast at the rooftop restaurant it has a nice view of the city but nothing to rave about the food. The night before I tried the bar but the bartender also was waiting tables and it was taken too long to get service so I left.
My room, king size bed (a little hard) on the 4th floor front of the building w/ wall to wall window was confortable, modern a/c, very quite (no central A/C) the only problem a funny unpleasant smell (I don't know if I got the same room of the other writer) but it was a bother after the strong room deodorant desappeared; don't understand why rooms with small food preparation areas w/ sink, microwave and fridge; have carpet, any food spilled will stink the room. The bathroom need a little update, counter and tiles; other than that there is a nice desk for work and nice size flat tv.
The service in general is good, front desk staff and there are 2 cp at the lobby. For me location was the best and I will recommened this hotel for business people, short ride to the financial distric.
