“A very cosy place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 February 2011

I owe Mr. Angelo a very big Thank you ! for being a great host.
He was the main architect of our travel through Peru and although we only spent 2 nights @ his place (at the beginning and end of our South-American honeymoon) we remember it to be a great stay. He also got us connected to some friends in Arequipa and Puno who were able to guide us towards getting our Bolivian visa.
In all - we felt lucky to have had stayed @ B&B Tradiciones and to have followed Mr. Angelo's advice.
Many thanks from a couple of grateful Romanians!

“Friendly place in a good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2011

Angelo is a helpful and friendly host and also great to talk to. Location is good in terms of distance to the city centre and also the suburb is pleasant and safe. Rooms are fine, but some face the main road and are noisy at night.

“A WARM, PERSONALISED HOSTEL RUN BY A GENTLEMAN IN THE TRUE SENSE OF THE WORD”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2011

Angelo- the owner of the hotel is a gem. A gentleman and an intellectual he embodies that rare mixture of charm and humility that makes for wonderful company, and on top of that he is able to distinguish between moments when you want to talk and moments which you wish to be alone. My wife and I are people who like to chat to a sagacious, warm-hearted, well-read chap so we spent quite a bit of time chin-wagging with Angelo in his delightful sitting room (available to all that stay). I also enjoyed the stay because Angelo's delightful wife, Norma decorated (my stay being December) the whole hostel exquisitely for Christmas. We could not have felt more at home in every sense, and I am rather an aestetic snob (not a social one) and I liked very much the beautiful antique furniture throughout the hostel. Two thumbs up from my wife and me. We agree that we would stay at Angelo's even if we had the money to stay at a 5 star hotel.

“simple rooms with great hospitality”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2010

We stayed 4 nights in this BB during our trip to Peru in August 2010. Angelo was great! He was warm and helpful. The rooms were simple, a little outdated. But it is not an expensive hotel; it is the perfect place to stay for travelers who do not want to spend a fortune on accommodations.

“Comfort and Security”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2010

A nice established, traditional home that is located within walking distance to shops, banks, casinos and the beach. A taxi pickup was arranged ahead of time to ensure that we were taked well care of as soon as we arrived in Lima. When we arrived at B&B Traditionel we were greeted by hospitality and kindness. We received orientation session accompanied with a map of Lima and directions to various attractions and museums. Angelo arranged taxi for us for the best rate, he recommended great places to eat and visit given our short stay. We had private very nice breakfast delivered to our room within minutes of calling for it. The room was clean, beds comfortable with private bathroom and shower.
We, my daughter and I, felt safe walking around the area late in the evening.
The overall stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Great place to put your head down and get some rest while travelling in Peru.
