This hotel definitely represented the colonial style each floor had a nice sitting area with amazing wood working but nothing very memorable. It was a very close to the Huaca Pucllana ruins (10 minute walk) which was incredible and only 15 minutes from the coastline where you can hire a paraglider for ride along the coast!!! If you have a room at the front of the hotel I would definitely recommend asking immediately to be moved to the rear of the hotel unless you can sleep through very loud traffic noise. The buffet was not very good instead of breakfast sausage they serve hot dogs. The staff were not very friendly in the restaurant area either would only come over if it was necessary. I also wouldn't recommend drinking the water that the hotel sells it didn't taste very good and we felt really sick after drinking it rather buy the bottled water that is distributed by Coca Cola!!!

We were booked here as part of a tour that we were on. I would recommend, if possible, to avoid this hotel. The common areas, like the stairs and the lounges, were nice enough but the rooms were small and dirty. In particular, the bathroom was bad news. There really is no reason why you should stay here- the breakfast was so-so, the hotel staff was just ok, the location was marginal- so save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

Well, the hotel has personality in a cute sort of way. That is the only thing I thought it had going for it. We stayed there as part of a tour group, for only 1 night. We arrived about 1:30 am, after a delayed flight to Lima. When we walked into the hotel, we were greeted by a very strong smell of ant spray. The room was VERY tiny, and the bed even smaller. We were book as 2 people being in the room. The bed was Full/Double size. Quite tiny for my husband and I. Fortunately, we were too sleepy to care that much, and fell right to sleep. I did think the room was very noisy. I could hear people outside on the patio in the early am. The bathroom was also very small, pretty much only 1 person could fit in it a time comfortably. There was NO blowdryer, and not enough towels I thought. I would only recommend this hotel, if you are on a tight budget, a sound sleeper, and looking for a place to sleep for the night. We arrived later at night, so we went straight to bed, and did not explore the area around the hotel. I would not willingly stay there again.
