Been there for just one night in October.
Usually not the kind of hotel that I choose to stay at, but I decided to pick this one to splurge a little during my last day in Lima before coming back home.
It is located in the San Isidro area, which I found to be much more pleasant than Miraflores. Excellent rooms (very clean and big), comfy bed, nice amenities, cable TV, in-room safe, free wi-fi and a Starbuck's right beside the hotel.
Just be aware that the hotel will overcharge you if you ask them to arrange a taxi. Taxis in Lima do not have a meter; it cost me 40 soles from the airport to the hotel (directly at the Green Taxi booth at the airport) but the hotel staff charged me 60 soles on the way back. Not a matter of money itself, but I really do not like this attitude. This is my only complaint. Otherwise very recommended hotel.

“Great for business”

There is nothing risky about this hotel. Starbucks next door, a pharmacy with phone cards and water, and an English speaking staff. The drivers are great. I have stayed here multiple times, with decent Spanish and a non-spanish speaking spouse. Great choice. Libertador should be rated higher throughout.

“Thanks heaps - great tourist info for all of Peru”

A great location overlooking the golf course in Lima. We had a few hiccups, but the staff were exceptional at helping getting them resolved and making sure our holiday experience across Peru, not just in Lima, was excellent.

“Big rooms, decent Hotel”

A 4 star in Lima for $135,00 decent rooms large, limited service, very nice location near the Hotel los Delfines and Country Club Lima. The area where hotel is at is the best

“Peace and Quiet in the City”

"Lima is a nice place to visit but the noise pollution is just too much for me to handle. Libertador is a wonderful place to stay because of its location and modern facility that keeps you away from all the troublesome commotion that this city brings. Lovely staff and lovely tourist accommodations.
