This hotel is beautiful. After a hectic drive from the airport, this hotel was so welcoming. I couldn't wait to step inside. Overall the staff were friendly. The Bar Ingles was dark and cozy. Pisco Sours were yummy. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. My biggest complaint was the pool area. It is very small and only has 4 lounge chairs. While I was there, hotel employees took 2 of the chairs away leaving guests to lie in the grass to get sun. So if you want a chair, get there early!

Beautiful and serene, The Country Club Hotel is the grand hotel of Lima. Situated across from the Country Club Golf Course and a short cab ride to shopping and night life, this jem of a hotel feels plesantly off the beaten path, yet has the service and sofistication of a world class hotel.
Although small, the grounds and interior are spotless. The decor and polished marble halls and ballrooms are elegant. The rooms are like a great European botique; soft beds, modern ammenities (flat screen TVs and mini bar) and large comfy sofas to read on.
My freinds and I used The Country Club Hotel for a little pampering (at the conclusion of our Peru mountain adventure). The Spa was elegant, perfectly clean and quiet. The rooms were oppulant and the plush bathrooms with fantastic showers were fantastic! The food at the lobby restaurant was wonderful (some of the best cerviche I have ever had). Tea time was delicious and a great value (pretty nice to spend a lazy afternoon eating and listening to the piano). The hotel staff at the front desk was polite at check-in and knowledgeable in finding great restaurants and nearby shopping.

We organized our engagement party in February in this hotel. The service provided by the event manager was great, we chose this one after looking at several other hotels in Lima and we were not disappointed by the service during the party and during our stay. The food served during the dinner was great and the restaurant with it's beautiful terrace serves delicious food. I will highly recommend to stay ther if visiting Lima, but you need to take into account that it is not located close to the major shopping area in Miraflores.

This was our third stay at the County Club Hotel, a lovely and serene oasis combining elegant decor with conscientious service. Rooms are large and well appointed with high ceilings and huge bathrooms and very cosy fittings. Breakfast is a rare treat with a vast spread of local fresh fruits and juices, housemade yogurts, cereals, charcuterie, cheeses, jams, breakfast breads and made to order egg dishes, waffles and such. With such riches one could easily pass on lunch although its excellent peruvian cuisine would push one to parktake of the delicious offerings of the Perroquet.

Kudos to the staff for continuing the CC tradition and special mention to Food and Beverage Manager, Ms. Ingrid Mago for the outstanding quality of the meal services. Country Club gets our vote every time we come to Lima!
