Rooms are cozy, large and comfortable. There is a good desk with plenty of space to work, although more outlets would be recommendable. The hotel is business oriented and if you are in a travel for pleasure, you can feel yourself out of place.

Nice hotel but of rather old style. At walking distance to at least two supermarkets and to the European Union Delegation premises. Rooms are big. The breakfast is served (no buffet) and the service is rapid and efficient. The announced swimming pool is an open place on the roof. Very small and I was surprised not to find any changing room, showers etc. There is no supervision so better to avoid a heart attack there. Fine place for a short stay and if you do not intend to swim. From the airport I paid 25 USD ("limousine service" ordered in advance, airport taxis ask for 35 USD).

We spent 2 nights

- the staff was excellent and helpful
- we had a very large room; very comfortable
- the location in San Isidro is good for business. It is about 30-40 minutes away from the airport
- we benefited from a promotion price (cheaper than the Lima Novotel)
- access to the internet was free

I stayed at the Sofitel Lima in San Isidro as it was closer to the airport than Mirafores and I arrived late in Lima and had to leave early the next day. The staff are really friendly but rushing is not their forte. I had to check out at 5AM the next day so had pre-paid and they took about 20 minutes to check me out (they were trying to find a piece of paper or a receipt even though I had printed it out for them). The early morning receptionist did not speak that much English and I did not speak any Spanish (my fault for not learning I realise this however it was really frustrating that there was no communication about what was happening). Upon arrival one is given a free pisco sour which is fabulous and the cost was reasonable (USD 200 roughly) for one night. There is a great restuarant that is about 2 or 3 blocks from the hotel called Osaka (osaka.pe). If you like sushi then this place is for you as it is ultra fresh and top quality. The rooms were spacious and very clean with a duvet.
