I stay always there when I trip to Lima. It´s an apart hotel. The rooms need a new redecoration and the rooms can looks darkish inside, because of dark furniture and low profile ilumination ! Perfect location for Miraflores and excellent good-value for money.
The service is the best of this and there is a special attention from the staff.
Try to get the rooms back off from the building, as the front of the avenue can be noisy mainly at the lower floors.

Very helpful and service-minded staff. Good Rooms with great beds and bathroom. Really clean. Pool on the roof. Simple breakfast. Overall I had a great staff and would recomend it for everyone!

I only stayed here for one day while in transit through Lima. It wasn't the cheapest but the staff were really nice, the room was comfortable and modern, with good double glazing! (Busy street) It's pretty much in the centre of Miraflores. The free wifi works in the rooms.

El Doral is a business class hotel. The rooms are very nice and large with kitchenettes. The hotel staff was very nice with a few exceptions. I was not pleased to hear that my local call to a local cell phone (taxi service) was not free. In fact it was $3.90! NOT soles! The call was only about 2 minutes long! So if you stay here watch out for the sneaky fees. We did not feel a warm welcome from the front desk when we arrived but the rest of the staff (doorman, cleaners, etc.) were excellent. They did not offer free airport pickup either. Instead they offered to send a taxi at 60 soles. Taxi service from the airport is generally 45 soles. Wasn't too pleased about this. Just grab a Green Taxi (name of service) from the airport. Other than that the hotel has a very central location and is very nice and clean. I would probably stay at another hotel next time.
