My friends and i (age 21-22) searched around the net after a nice place to stay and we found this one and i must say it was an amazing place, The people who runs it are so kind and helpful, The location of Angels Inn is absolutly great as well and you have everything within your reach, I would stay that Miraflores is an cosy place and The Kennedy park is just a few blocks away. Bars,shops,restaurants etc.
The rooms we stayed in where Great and wasnt that expensive, Clean and very comfortable and the staff where absoluty helpful and kind and helped us a lot like with the 3day trip to Paracas,Ica and Nasca which was an awsome experience.
I dont really have any criticism against this place, in my eyes it was an awsome place,.

I highly recommend this place and Angels Inn will be
my first choice everytime i visit Lima Peru

We stayed here for 2 nights in September, our first stop in Peru, and it made a fantastic first impression. The hostel is run by a lovely couple, their son and their dog Perdi - they were warm and welcoming and put us at ease. They booked our bus tickets to Ica, hailed cabs to various destinations (and always made sure we gringos got a fair price!) and gave restaurant recommendations in the area.

The hostel itself is of a good standard, clean and tidy, with TV in our room (something of a rarity!) and hot showers most of the time - there are two showers so I found when one was cold, the other worked!

Only criticism would be the wifi is pretty slow - but there is a computer in the communal area which is free to use and faster.

If you're looking for a cosy and welcoming hostel, you can't go far wrong with The Angels Inn!

We have stayed at this hostel twice. Our first stay in June 2010 was with a group of 7. Our second stay was in August 2010 with our son and his girlfriend. The hostel is an excellent location with easy access to Larcomar, Kennedy Park, taxis, etc. The couple that manages the hostel will go out of their way to help you with any thing you need. They are extremely accommodating and very concerned that their guests be well taken care of. However, they do not speak much English so it is helpful to be able to speak basic Spanish. The rooms are basic but two of the rooms do have private bathrooms which were very clean. There is an ample supply of very hot water for showers.

Room #2 can be noisy at night depending on the guests in the adjacent hostel but once we knocked on the wall, the noise stopped.

Our only complaint is that the it was not clear to us that the person that we communicated with via email and whose English was excellent was not actually on site at the hostel. On our second visit, although we had a confirming email for our reservation, the on-site staff had not been told we were coming and were not prepared for our arrival. Fortunately, the rooms were available but there does seem to be some communication issues between the owner and her on-site staff.

The service at Angels Inn is very friendly. Good breakfast (better than most places you'll find in Peru). Great location. Spacious comfortable light filled rooms.

Would definitely stay there again.
