“Very homely and helpful.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

This hostel was lovely. The staff were so incredibly helpful. And there was a great free breakfast.
I would recommend this hostel if your only wanting a night or two nice and close to the airport. It isn't the nicest location but great if your just in transit. They even organize your airport pick up and drop off if you require one.
I had a very pleasant stay.

“Great Airport Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2011

The building is not nice or in a safe area, but security seems tight. The proximity to the airport is really the reason to stay at this hostel. I flew in to Lima at night and had an early flight out the next day so this hostel was perfect for my purposes. I would recommend it to anyone doing the same. The staff was friendly, the pisco sours were delicious, the breakfast was nice and the room was clean. My alarm was a rooster outside the window. Don't have to be up early? Bring earplugs.

“Nice, quiet, comfortable just outside Lima airport”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

I spent 1 night while waiting to catch a flight to Cusco. It's walkable from the airport (depending on your comfort with walking at night --- it's very well lit but you never know) and they arrange to pick you up / drop you off from the airport (don't get excited, somebody will find you at the airport and take a cab with you, asking you not to look while she is paying the driver...). Clean rooms smelling good, they provide your own soap and towel. the 4-person dorm I stayed in was comfortable, safe and had a good bathroom (for hot water, try not to put the water pressure to max as it becomes colder --- less is more).

A good choice if you are staying not too far from the airport.

“Best Hostel in Lima”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

Pros - Everyone is friendly, cheap, private rooms available, comfortable bed, near the airport, airport pick up is available for 22 SL call the hostel to arrange it, Free use of internet (they have two pcs on site and wireless), clean rooms, Free breakfast (simple), use of the kitchen, a towel and bedding, hot water, warm room, locker, Play Station, movies, and cable TV. *Some small shops nearby and a big multi-center nearby too. Most of the people here speak English.

Cons - I didn't like the glass door on the bathroom. You can see the outline of the person in there. It's uncomfortable because it's a mixed dorm. There is a cat here, so if you don't like cats, that might be one. The cat is around at night, very quiet and likes to cuddle. She doesn't go upstairs in the rooms. It looked as if she is only allowed outside or in the living room area. I never saw her any place else.

It's one of the nicest places to stay. I'd recommend it for anyone that has a layover or needs to stay for a few days. I got stuck here in Lima because I forgot to get a vaccination. And 10 days here is a cheap, fun way to be. I don't have a Play Station or cable at home! I may just move in.

Things to know - voltage is different, taxi is about 3 sols or take a motorbike ride (fun), and you can drink the water here. (Bring earplugs. They will help with noise if there is any.)

Room Tip: It wasn't busy when I stayed at the hostel. You could probably sleep fine in the dorm area with...
