They advertise themselves as being "Japanese friendly". But not really. Just stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in October, 2011. The front staff is not friendly. Not sure if they even speak Japanese.. I doubt it, since they barely can speak English. The room itself is bare minimum. Not worth the price. They charge you for all outbound local calls and water bottles they leave in your room. Nothing complimentary. For $85-$100USD/ night you would think something would be free. No. They took too over 15min to check me out w/ very little communication. The front desk kept haggling w/ me about paying for a bottle of water I didn't drink. They insisted I pay $1.50 USD. Then they did the paperwork incorrectly, so they are calling my cab driver as I am going to the airport. Insane. Must have called 5x insisting I bring the $1.50 water bottle invoice back. Twilight Zone. As I check in an approach my flight gate, the cab driver has tracked me down to insist again that I return the the water invoice. Is this insane or what? WTF??? I can't get rid of these wierdos! Now they were stalking me! Never experience this in all my years of traveling around the world. I will NEVER stay or recommend this hotel. btw, the breakfast food was "ok". The Japanese style was edible, but not great. The A.C. didn't work very well.. I had to keep the windows open. I think they advertise they had a gym, but didn't bother looking because it was locked up, and had to "request" it to have it "opened". Nevermind..I thought. Overall, look elsewhere.
