“Great & Pleasant Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Stayed at this hotel with my husband two nights in November 2011. We had a really pleasant and wonderful experience here. Upon getting there, one would not expect what is beyond the door, as outside it looks pretty plain, but inside is a huge, impressive historically enchanting lobby/courtyard with natural light ceiling. People can relax there at tables, eat their meals there, use the computers, etc.

The hallways and all within is like being in a historical castle and made for a fun experience. Inside the room is another surprise, as the room does not seem to reflect the ambience of the hotel. It is a beautiful room, but so simple in a modern kind of way. Again, it was great, but not expected given the historical appeal of this hotel. Either way, everything in the room felt very fresh, clean and new. The bathroom was fantastic, equally fresh, clean and new. The room also had ample closet/drawer space for anyone who may need it.

Location wise it is good to get to the main square, about a 5 minute walk. It provides good value.

We spent most of the 2 days touring, so we did not spend too much time in the hotel. But any interaction with staff was super pleasant and friendly.

Lastly, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which included an elaborate spread featuring almost something for everyone.

Would definitely stay here again.

“Gem of a Hotel in Cusco”

Wonderful little hotel in the heart of Cusco. The rooms are somewhat spartan but the colonial-era courtyard with fountain and music in the evening are terrific. Great food in the restaurant, helpful staff and surrounded by iconic Incan stone walls.

“NOVOTEL IN CHARMING BUILDING”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Having stayed in many Novotels in Europe this was a pleasant surprise as the building had character and the rooms were quiet and spacious. The staff were pleasant and willing so nothing was impossible. Would recommend as other hotels in Cusco have rooms overlooking the street and most of them are cobbled which is very noisy.

“Amazing Hotel All Around!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

Arrived at the hotel for a six night stay and was greeted by friendly concierge offering us coca tea to help with the elevation. The building is located in the center of Cusco, walking distance to everything. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The staff was absolutely amazing, anything that we needed, even down to running errands for us, when they did not have things readily available at the hotel. They did everything possible to help us navigate the city by calling tour guides, taxis, and directing us through the area of Cuzco, for shopping, food, etc. The food was standard, but the room service and presentation was fantastic and took 15min tops. I would highly recommend this hotel to all tourists who are looking for a very pleasant stay, and the price is unbelievable for what you get!

“Great service in a wonderful place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

Novotel Cusco has got beautiful rooms, a great lobby, a decent staff and it is located on a very central position in CUzco, where you will not have to fear anything even during the night.
Breakfast is very good in quality and quantity, rooms are good and clean, the shower is great and the waitress do a good job.
The staff is not very warm, but it is ok. If you want, there is free mate de coca at anytime in the hotel lobby. Also the restaurant is good, even if a bit too expensive for tha average rates of CUzco.
