We stayed at The Liberatador and, having tried many restaurants around the main square, decided to give this unassuming restaurant a try as it was almost next door and we didn't fancy the walk into town. We were not disappointed. In fact we went back and ate there a second time when visting Cusco again. Like a breath of fresh air. Food was brilliant, ambiance excellent and staff very friendly. A good and varied choice of food. On one night they did have the compulsory panpipe band come and visit. While if I hear another panpipe I'll willingly strangle the player, even this seemed tolerable in this setting. Had the compulsory chat with Fredy himself. A person who is so enthusiastic and passionate about his restaurant is hard to find these days. If in Cusco, this restaurant is a touch above the usual tourist fair, with many of the diners while we were there clearly being locals, and I'd certainly go back again.
