We stayed for 6 days in total, with a trek to the Colca Canyon inbetween. Ana was super friendly and allowed us to leave our large backpacks while we were away.
Our room was very spacious and the bed very comfy with warm duvet. There is a washing machine too so you can catch up on the laundry whilst enjoying the sun terrace and views to the mountains and volcano. The kitchen is relatively well equipped if you want to cook. Breakfast is good; bread, fruit and scrambled eggs with tea or coffee.
The surrounding neighbourhood is quiet, safe and very picturesque. We enjoyed the 15 min walk through the cobbled streets into town, but there are lots of taxis buzzing about if you want a ride. There's a couple of traditional restaurants and a pizza place nearby. The local shops have basic food supplies of fruit, veg, pasta sauce, beer.
