The staff at Bothy Arequpa were very helpful to us during our stay. Due to demonstrations on the road between Puno and Cuzco our bus was cancelled twice. Even after we were told all buses were canceled Staff did a great job ringing around to get us on a bus to Cuzco. We wish all hostels we stay in could have such great staff as we found at bothy.

Short and sweet but any hostel who puts signs up saying if you want us to clean your room or the communal bathrooms just ask really cannot be that great. This one definitley isn´t. I wouldn´t waste your money here.

the bothy hostel is such a great place! i strongly recomend it to everyone. this place is alaive and full of good energy. i was traveling in all Peru and it was the firts so clean and organised place. staff is doing his job good, breakfast is great, they have working hot showers, pool, movie room, hammocks... and what is the most important good location in the city. everyone who is going to Arequipa make sure u will get to this hostel.

Great hostel - comfy beds, decent dorms, very clean bathrooms and plenty of hot water! Very sociable for meeting other travellers with good common areas,Pool table at the bar.good pancake breakfast. Would recommend it to everyone.
