We stayed for one night in September 2011. The room was very nicely refurbished and had a comfy bed. However breakfast was very basic for the price (43 Dollar for a double) compared to similar hotels in Arequipa. Also even in the back of the hostel there is a lot of street noise as there is no closed door towards the street as in other hostels in Arequipa.

Beautiful, well furnished and clean rooms with authentic style elements. The building has a patio with a giant palm tree. There is a great rooftop terrace with excellent views of Chachani and Misti. All staff is extremely helfpul and the young woman is very fluent in English.

I like it here a lot! the staff is so helpful and freindly, the rooms really worth it prices because they are in old colonial building, big, clean, private bathroom, security lockers, huge closets, and huge beds!!! by the way i forgot to mention the terase on the rood with misti and chachani if front of your eyes! what can be better!!!! also they are planning to open sauna soon. so got there, u will be happy with it!!!

Very helpful staff, friendly and kind. The rooms are great, the only drawback seems to be the noise. Traffic, church meetings (???) in the building next door, and water-pipe (???) noises in the very early morning. Breakfast should definitely be improved.
