We just visited Arequipa during Christmas vacation. Stayed in La Fuente Arequipna for couple of nights. This is a family owned hotel. Milenka, the owner was very helpful. She arranged taxi for transportation. Also every morning we were served with fresh home made juice and breakfast of our choice. Rooms were nice and clean. It was like staying in our close family's home.

I would recommend this to anyone visiting Arequipa.

We stayed in this nice family owned hotel for 3 nights. The room and service was excellent. The owners woke up at 2 am when we went to a tour on Colca Canyon and made us hot tea, like our "parents". The location is safe, silent, not very far from the center (10 min walk).

Hotel is really nice, clean, free wifi, spacious room with fridge fully stocked with chocolate, coke etc which i think was included in the price. upon arrival Milenka brings you coca tea to assist with altitude sickenss and is full of knowledge about where to eat and what to see but is really sweet and not pushy in the slightest. she will organise taxis etc and has really good english. hotel itself is 10 mins walk from the centre which is full of nice restaurants and really beautiful buildings although there are millions of pigeons in the main square that people seem to enjoy feeding... we ate in Zig Zag which was nice if not slightly expensive compared to other places. whole town feels really safe as does the hotel and there is a safe behind reception for your passports if you want. lovely place to stay on your travels around peru!

This hostel is run by a very friendly and helpful staff. It is centrally located in town making it easy to walk about. The rooms are clean, and have pretty fast wifi. It's a great deal.
