We were traveling with a group of six and everything about this place was fantastic. The owners, Milenka and Joe, were very friendly and willing to accommodate any reasonable request with pleasure. It was obvious to us that their guests are extremely important to them. The location is great, located across from a park and relatively quiet from traffic, allowing the air to be clean and pleasant. It is also only a short walk or easy cab ride to the plaza, or square. The entire place is extremely clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My boyfriend and I stayed at La Fuente Arequipena for two nights. Over the course of a few weeks, we stayed at numerous hotels across Peru and La Fuente Arequipena was our favourite of all of these. The location is excellent, and the owners of the hotel went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. They were kind, thoughtful, helpful, and pleasant at all times and we would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at La fuente arequipa for one night during our trip in Peru. This is the 4th hotel we've been to and its hands down the best so far. It had everything we needed: WIFI internet, safe location and helpful staff. The rooms were clean (they replaced our towels even for a 1 night stay) the staff provided excellent trip and food recommendations within Arequipa, and even helped us order a taxi and bargain for a great rate to various arequipa attractions. We felt really cared for. I would definitely come back to this place.

We stayed in La Fuente Arequipena in July 2010.
My spouse got ill on the way to Arequipa, that's why we had to prolong our stay in this beautiful city (from two days to one whole week). We stayed one night at the Hotel Inkari, which wasn't at all what we were looking for. We relocated to La Fuente because of the good reviews here (Although it is a bit more expensive than the Inkari = 90 Soles). But it was the right choice! The owners cared for us as we were family members. We felt like home and real secure. They organised a very nice and capable doctor, who managed to heal my spouse before we got to leave South America. We've been able to visit Machu Picchu instead of returning back home. We are very grateful for this :)
Location of the hotel is a bit outside of town in a very quiet part of Arequipa, but still only 5 minutes to La Plaza Mayor by cab (2-3 Soles) or 12 minutes walking. To the Terrapuerto 6 Soles approx. 30 minutes.
Our room (# 203 for 55 USD) was spacious (20 m2), always hot water, a king-size bed, breakfast extensive (incl. also eggs and mate de coca), cable TV (even HBO = very important if you have fever).
We were highly satisfied with the service :)
