We stayed 4 nights in hotel and there were our last days in Peru.
It was the best hotel for entire period. Beautiful place located inside ancient villa, rooms are big and amazingly clean. Owned by Dutch man and his wife. We requested to have dinner in hotel in our last night and she prepared excellent steaks and vegs.specially for us.
Needed to check out on the middle of staying for one night to go to Colca canyon, our request was gladly answered, our bags stored and moved to a new room when we returned.
Little bit far from center but a taxi will take you there for 4 soles ($1.5).
Pretty, friendly, very clean, modern shower- highly recommended.

This hotel is built out of a residential Spanish mansion, which gives it a very welcoming feel. The owner, Hans, speaks excellent English (and Spanish and Dutch), and is more than happy to offer advice on tours, restaurants, and sightseeing in and around Arequipa. Rooms and bathrooms are large and clean, with high ceilings and doors that open to private balconies with great views. Breakfast was good, with fresh strawberry juice and better ham than usually accompanies Peruvian continental breakfast. The hotel is about a km or more from the center of town, but is easily located and only a short taxi ride anyway.

I stayed at the hotel for 20 days--while looking for an apartment or house to rent in Arequipa. Breakfast is very, VERY good: eggs, bread, cheese, sliced meat, cereal, tea, coffee, TWO different FRESH juices (!!!), butter, jam, olives (?), and FRESH fruit each day!!! My room was immaculate. Granted one overhead light didn't work (bad bulb, I suspect), but that's it. There's a WiFi connection throughout the complex, an outdoor table for relaxing, and the staff members are wonderful--friendly, helpful, flexible, etc. You truly couldn't ask for more. And I found the walk from the hotel to downtown reasonable--about 20 minutes. And I did it once or twice a day. Granted, it's not a FASCINATING walk--it goes through a more "commercial" district, but still ...

I highly recommend the hotel. There's a lovely garden! Humming birds and doves were outside my room each day. And it's secure. And the price is very reasonable considering the GREAT breakfast and the clean rooms! In brief: go there! Stay! Enjoy!

We were lucky and got to stay 3 nights here. It is not in the city centre but you can walk up there in 20 minutes. In the evening you can take a taxi for about 4 Soles.
It is in a very romantic building and you stay with a nice family. We had a really big room in the more modern building. Breakfast is good every morning. with lovely eggs.
Helpful staff, we would recommend it to everyone.
