This hotel couldnt find any ice, has no elevators (4 floors, so plan on schlepping your bags up to your room, and has a bar but is not staffed. Rate it 1/2 star , I'd rate it lower
but they did change the sheets evewry day.

For $210 per night, this is one of the worst hotels I ever stayed in. There was no elevator to the room, I had to carry all 4 suitcases up 3 flights. The bathroom was horrible, it smelled like feces all the time. I asked the bath tub and sink to be cleaned, but it still looked bad. It looked like it had a lot of deferred maintenance. During her sleep, my wife was bit (no mosquitoes in the room), next day found little black bugs in her bed. One night we got back from a cruise, and there was no hot water, I asked the receptionist, and she said nothing could be done until the next day, because the handyman was gone. I complained to the owners, and got it fixed in 20 minutes. The staff had no idea of how to help the tourists in their hotel. Breakfast was very basic. I would definitely not stay in this hotel again, Couldn't wait to leave this flea bag hotel.

This hotel was included as part of a package. It was a great location - our room overlooked an alley, so no noise issues, and had a balcony with a vew of the ocean. One woman at the front desk was incrediby helpful, and made several calls on our behalf to confirm the arrangements for airport pick up; another merely told us to be available from 7 am on, even though it turned out we were to be picked up at 9:45(!?!). The hotel mostly caters to groups, so my husband's and my room had 5 single beds, and my son's room had 3 - we were also offered other rooms, which were similar. The rooms were all large, with modern baths and air conditioning. Our room had a missing toilet seet. Breakfast was included, and was quite complete. I would say this is best suited for groups of unrelated people traveling together, such as school groups.

We stayed here for 2 nights in Jan '07 while day tripping to different islands. The room we had was clean, had air conditioning, and a large bathroom. It was a expensive which makes it less of a value but I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.
