Located in an upscale neighborhood walking distance from Old Town Cuenca. Beautiful Hotel with an excellent staff, about half of which spoke at least some English. WiFi and computers with printer available. The room, while not huge was fairly good sized. Restaurants and a new mall (shop at Supermaxi only if you want to pay USA prices and poor attitudes for much poorer quality than you can find in old town). Breakfast was provided and was pretty good. We can't wait to go back!!

My main complain is not actually about the hotel it self, although the hotel is not as good as other travelers has described. The location is out side the historic center but it is not too far and it is almost quiet except for the ventilation from the kitchen. The room is big but very old. clean and good shower. One week after our stay in the hotel and when we had already leaved Ecuador i discovered that the hotel had charged my credit card to times. They even hadn't contacted to inform me. I send the manger mail to times and called to times. I payed a lot money to call to the hotel. No body spoke English although they pretended to. Even i tried to speak a little Spanish i could they did not try to understand me. At last the manager of the hotel that could speak a very well English admitted that they have charged me to times but the worst part is that he refused to pay it back and when i said i will contact my bank he said you can contact any one you will and cut the line. Still i do not know if Visa can do any thing for me.

Very clean, nice beds, good breakfast and makes you feel at home. We loved the location being only a very short walk to the old town and a block away from a small upperscale mall with a supermarket.
Reception staff speaks English and was helpful.
Great value for the money.
