We stayed for 5 nights in this hostel where the owner was really rude and unfriendly since day 1 but the worst was that we got biten by bedbugs (about 30 bites) in 2 different bedrooms plus they have cockroaches in the kitchen and toilets, we informed the owner about that and he reacted angry and insulting us so bad that he kick us out of his hostel with horrible words and with the finger!!!

Good points:
* Has warm water
* Fantastic view - it's on the 6th floor overlooking San Francisco square & the mountains
* Good size rooms
* Clean

Bad points:
* Old town is very very quite at night
* That locked gate is good for safety but not to stand outside in the dark until someone answers the bell & let you in.
* Paper thin walls - you can hear the conversations in the next room

It's a good place but I would rather have stayed somewhere less dead at night i.e. more lively area in easy (safe) walking distance...
