The property is in a very good location. The rooms are good, just no insulation so you hear everything. The breakfast is quite poor. Just a roll, coffee and watered down juice. The staff does not speak English so are not too helpful.

There is almost nothing special about this hotel, except for the best bed we had in Ecuador. It's just a very nice place to stay, on a good location. Might be a bit overpriced.
There is free internet (no wifi) available, incluing the use of a printer.

Booked on hostelbookers for 2 nights in a twin room. On arrival they couldn't find our booking and the room we had booked was no longer available. They gave us a family room with a king bed and 2 singles which was massive and on the ground floor. Room had cable tv and bathroom with hot water. All okay until the guests in the room above us got home. We could hear every move they made and every word they spoke. We were woking up many times in the night by them moving around on both the first and second nights. Make sure you get a room on the top floor to avoid horrible nights sleep. The breakfast area is great, but was a little strange we were given eggs on first day but were refused eggs on the second day, even though it was included in the price. For US$15pp it was a little overpriced, better value ones out there.

Well, this is not Europe! So it would just be unfair expecting high standards.

The hostal was quiet, cheap and it's not far from the city center.

Helpful staff. Bads: Internet did not work in my room. Cleanliness could have been better.

But all in all: nothing to worry about and considering the fair pricing: Good value.
