There are simply no words to describe how I feel about Caballo Campana, We are waiting for our house to be ready and because we have a medium sized dog our choices of where to stay here in Cuenca are limited, So we came to Caballo Campana, a peaceful horse farm with elegant, well appointed rooms and warm, helpful owners and staff. You can feel the energy of this place, the beautiful gardens and views feed my soul specially at these times of high stress we are going through. This is a place to come and relax, a good book, meditation and rest away from the noise and pollution of Cuenca. If you are staying any length of time in Cuenca, you owe it to yourself to stay in Caballo Campana so you can experience the full range of all that this city has to offer.

“good for horse lovers”
Pretty location, helpful owners and plenty of horses. The downside are the expensive horse rides and lack of activities outside of cabalgatas. Better to stay in Cuenca and take an all day Andean horse ride which runs $58 with guide and lunch. This place charges $30 plus 22% tax for a ride with guide per hour. Over priced. Save your money and go elsewhere.
