This was our first hotel in our two week trip to Ecuador. What a great introduction! It reminded me of old world charm. It was clean, the young people were all totally helpful and friendly, (even though not all the staff spoke English, whoever manned the front desk was always someone who did) the breakfast each morning even though always the same (scrambled eggs, toast, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, cold cereal) was laid our beautifully and the fresh coffee was always being offered. You can also get expresso, etc for an additional cost. As already stated by previous reviewers there are two pcs there but very slow and there is wifi available but you need to be close or have a room close to the central lobby. We were able to walk to La Mariscal but at night we took taxis as we felt it unwise to walk at night in Quito. I would definitely return to this lovely place.
