Service is the key to this hotel. The saff is very friendly. Wanted for nothing. Good location. Blocks from Good eats. "magic bean" Beds were a little hard for my confront but ok. Beds were the only down side to this hotel. If you need someone to get you around Quito please contact Hernan Villalba ---. Can not say enough. Wonderful person felt very safe. He brings his daughter alone that speaks very good english.

Stayed at the embassy while en route to the Galapagos, 1 night in and 2 nights out (I missed my flight leaving Quito and headed straight back there). The front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. The room had a nice balcony and was quiet even though my room faced a street. The bathroom was spotless. Convenient to the tourist area, I felt comfortable walking around to local shops and restaurants. The food in the hotel restaurant was good, too. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly.

The Embassy Hotel is a solid 2 or 3 star choice in Quito. It has a good location in the new part of the city, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. I paid $32 per night including tax, service and breakfast.

It is important to support the economy of the country one is visiting and Hotel Embassy is Ecuadorian owned. The hotel exterior is smart and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant menu was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The laundry service is cheap and efficient so you can travel light! There are televisions in the rooms. However, we never worked out how to switch them on (but who really wants to watch television when there is such a super country to explore?)
