We stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour of Quito before going to the Galapagos Is. Effecient shuttle from the airport. Very nice, modern hotel, comfortable beds, free internet, friendly staff and great food in the 2 restaurants. Concierge (Melinda?) arranged a driver for a day who kindly took us to the sites in Quito. A highlight for us.
My mother had a toothache and knew she needed medical attention before we boarded a boat to the Galapagos. The staff contacted a doctor who came within 15 minutes, she was examined and a perscription was filled and delivered within the hour-for FREE! I don't know if that was covered under our tour or if its a Sheraton policy (Ecuadorians have free medical care) but it was much needed and appreciated.

I wish all of my meals in ecuador were as good as the breakfast at the Sheraton. They served many Ecuadorian foods both from the Sierra and the Coast. It was a great opportunity to try different and delicious foods in a nice environment.

The rooms were good and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

We stay here for one night as a part of galapagos trip and want a hotel near airport (about 10-15 min away). We asked for shuttle pick up and we were greeted inside the airport right after immigration. Our plane landed at 11:06 pm and we were at the hotel by 11:45 pm. All the staffs were very helpful. There was a welcome fruit plate in the room. The room are typical Sheraton and clean. The breakfast was in expensive and good (except for waffle that tastes like a frozen one). The airport at Quito has frequent problem with fog. Our plane almost has to divert to nearby city because of that. That might need to be factored in if you plan a connecting flight to galapagos the next day.

We stayed here just for one night before flying out again to the Galapagos. We were not even here for 12 hours. The room was nicely appointed and clean. We did not really experience any other parts of the hotel. I choose this hotel due to its closeness to the airport. The only complaint that aI have about it is that I contacted the hotel to arrange for the shuttle when we arrived and the hotel never responded, so we ended up having to take a taxi.
