We stayed here on our honeymoon, between trips to the Galapagos and the south of Ecuador.

It's located very centrally, right on the Plaza Foch, with no end of bars and restaurants nearby. Which means you can get to everywhere on foot, but it can be a little noisy late at night, especiallty if you have a room facing the street.

The hotel offers free pick-ups on its website - but these are only free if you book via the site (we booked via an agent). We booked this anyway and agreed to pay, but they didn't turn up so we had to get a taxi.

Apart from that, everything went smoothly. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and very well-designed. The hotel offered free internet. Wifi access is patchy above the second floor, but reception gave us a LAN cable to plug our laptop in.

The hotel rate included breakfast at the restaurant next door, which was a little underwhelming, but they also gave us vouchers for the bar across the road, which was quite good fun. Overall, we really liked the place.

H_Ray pretty much summed up what I would have mentioned about this boutique hotel. true, it's not as fancy as US or european standards, but it is a breath of fresh air amongst other cookie cutter hotels in quito. our small group stayed from December 11th to 17th, and most of us were very pleased with our experience as the service and staff was pretty good, and the airport transfer service was punctual (as the driver had to go forth and back 5 times for our group due to different arrival times). the location is pretty convenient (for coffee, restaurants, laundromat, travel + tour agencies and pretty much everything else in quito), and most of the group enjoyed that. most of the group were very satisfied with their rooms, and the bathrooms were very nice - with slate floors and walls, and low profile toilet. on friday and saturday nights, the music could be really loud til late due to the hotel's location smack in the heart of plaza foch. would we stay here again? most definitely!

Stayed here with my brother for about four or five nights in and out between Galapagos and the Amazon. It's a very nice boutique hotel for Ecuador, but not particularly fancy by standards of most US or European (or Asian) cities. Overall the service there was very good with a fairly attentive staff. The hotel included free airport pick-ups which was also very nice. The hotel has a pricey restaurant adjacent to the property that serves a free breakfast that is perfectly fine, but again, not fancy.

For me, I did appreciate the location which is conveniently smack dab on Plaza Foch where there is a high concentration of restaurants, bars, and tourist services. But this is also party central for Quito so the street noise can be quite loud if you are a light sleeper.

One night we had a room and the air-conditioner did not work and they moved us to another room within five minutes.

Overall the hotel worked for what we needed.

Modern building situated in the Mariscal Sucre, the modern centre of the city, in a
square (Plaza Foch) with a great variety of bars, pubs and restaurants,
frequented both by tourists and by quiteños .
So its position is perfect for living Quito's nightlife in a safe place reachable without need of taxi.
Due to this position the place may be noisy, but windows are quite sound-proof
The hotel is a bit distant from the historical centre, but taxis in Quito are very cheap.
The rooms are clean and confortable.
