Casa Verde Limon is the perfect hostel if you hope to meet other young-ish travelers and enjoy gabbing away until midnight when the common area closes. But if you're into a little more privacy (even with the shared bathroom), this hostel isn't for you. My boyfriend and I stayed on the bottom level and found it to be a bit noisy at all hours (and we're not ornery by any means). On the upside, it's in a good location: within walking distance from the main business/shopping areas/bus stops, but also close to Concepcion (our favorite area). Another pro: free use of the well-stocked (pots, plates, cooking utensils, etc.) kitchen. On the downside, some of the rooms are without windows and extremely dank/damp. If you do decide to stay here, definitely request a room with a window and one that's located upstairs.
