we stayed here for 2 nights.not a single bit of sleep, the walls are made of paper.youcan hear every move anybody makes in the hotel.the staff were up past 1am and again from 5am..like i said you here everything..moving furniture..washing dishes..talking and in general not giving a care of the guests.I had to bang the floor of our room to shut people up below us several time through the night..dont stay here.it is a rip off..lots of nice little places to stay around here for less money.even running the taps in the room will wake the whole place up, let alone flushing the toilet..I DONT KNOW WHY THIS PLACE GETS GOOD REVIEWS!we came here because of the good reviews and what a joke. if you need more than 3 hours sleep a night, go somewhere else..we have been travelling through s.america for 4 months now and have stayed in some bad places but this has annoyed us more than anything..overpriced over rated..dont do it!

Casa Latina is centrally located, but at the same time slightly withdrawn at Cerro Constitucion in Valparaiso. The guest house has a simple standard, but is clean and functional. In addition, the staff very helpful and plesant Thank you very much for a nice stay! Geir-Martin Blæss (Oslo, Norway)

Once we located the low-profile entrance, we found the Casa Latina experience a good one. Great location, nice, helpful people, and basic but clean and very functional facilities. Quiet -- which is always great!

Traveled to Valparaiso in late March for an international triathlon. Casa Latina was just what i wanted. A quiet, safe, clean and affordable place to stay.

Up on the Cerro Concepcion the B&B has an AMAZING view just steps away of the harbour and downtown.

The breakfast is fairly simply so you may need to supplement it a bit.

Make sure to take the cable car down from the Cerro. It is quite a hike back up but satisfying.

Very recommended.
