The location of the hotel is very nice and convenient to explore the city. we could also park our car in front of the hotel. We stayed in the suite and very much enjoyed the view on the sea. There are a lot of restaurants in walking distance. Only downside is the noise of groups that enjoy the viewing point in front of the hotel (also during the night).

Just returned from three nights at the Atkinson. We were in the suite, room 7. Our taxi driver couldn't find the place!!! It was crazy! The room was on the 3rd floor and quite lovely. Beautiful building. Loved the top floor with balcony overlooking the Pacific! It was a very quiet time of the year so we didn't hear too much outside. Breakfast was neat with cheesecakel, bread, ham and cheese. Lovely location and setting. Felt very secure. The only negative is that the walls are thin and you can hear others however, we were not bothered by this and I believe all of the properties would have this same issue.

We felt very fortunate to have stayed in this hotel. The view was incredible and near an overlook destination for some of the walking tours. Our room was comfortable and actually, elegant. I would stay there again and have room #1 picked out next time for the best view. This trip necessitated double beds so that room was not an option. We had a lovely cheesecake as our main breakfast course! Very memorable and beautiful. The best restaurants in town are within easy walking distance and there are no problems doing so in the evening. Do climb the spiral stairs to the roof at night!

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon, it was just perfect, we took a promotion for the weekend that included champagne and cheese. The attention is excellent and the ubication is perfect. They have a perfect view from the roof.
