La Nona is a great place in the best part of Valpariso with loads of restaraunts nearby. Rene, Julianne and Carline were excellent hosts and Rene is a great wealth of knowledge of things to do in the area and the transport system. Breakfasts were lovely with fresh fruit to start, served with great coffee. Nothing was too much trouble and Rene was very helpful, especially on the morning we had to leave early. Would definitely come back if we were heading to this part of the world again. Have a fantastic wedding in February!

B&B La Nona is a home that you share with its owners who are wonderful. This means it is clean, safe, cozy, and there was even a party down on the street to celebrate the end of indepence day. Rene has travelled throughout Chile so is full of useful information and was there to help whenever we required it despite it being a holiday weekend. Breakfast was prepared fresh with love every morning and delicious. The location is great with plenty of good places to eat, drink and get ice cream. Perfect place to stay in Valpo!

Rene goes out of his way to explain Valparaiso and give you tips for places to eat and things to see. He arranged a wine tour for us which, however expensive, was very nice and a good way to see the surrounding parts of Valparaiso like the Casablanca Valley. He provided us with towels since we didn't have any. He also gave us cow-cheese to go along with a bottle of wine that we bought. Rene is a wonderful host and we would highly recommend La Nona if you are coming to Valparaiso.

My family and I spent our first two days in Chile at this charming and homey B& B in the historic port city of Valparaiso. We are staying here for a month and came first to the B&B as a base from which to look at apartmental rental possibilities. Rene and Carolina helped us with all the practicalities of learning the key points of the city, stretching beyond the usual tourist information. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The common areas pleasant and well equipped. We slept well, had good breakfasts, and had a nice time walking up and down the cobblestone streets of Cerro Allegre and eating in upscale restaurants.
