Our extended stay at this superb bed and breakfast lasted for two weeks, but we had such an interesting and enjoyable time that they simply flew by!
The check-in was thorough and comprehensive, with bags of local information and helpful advice on do's and don't's: in fact our host Martin was usually around to suggest interesting places to visit. Local guides were available for personal tours, and since these were for small numbers, they really were personal, giving us the opportunity to get off the beaten track and see parts of the locality that we would otherwise never have seen.
We had an upstairs double with a fantastic view of Valparaiso, and a very comfortable bed: there is a small TV lounge with a book exchange. The breakfast is good quality, and if you like strong coffee, don't be afraid to ask for it - it will be done!
Spotlessly clean, cheerful and friendly staff - a credit to Lisette and Martin. There is a friendly and family atmosphere, a place where visitors from around the world can share their experiences.
There is a cookery school on site, where Boris or Andres take you to a local market to buy the ingredients for the hands-on Chilean cooking exprerience, with accomapanying wines of the region - great fun, and another opportunity to meet people of all age groups over lunch!
