We just spent three days at the hotel over Chile's indepence Day weekend.
The Hotel is very nice, large rooms, comfortable beds, nice furnishings, very clean, attractive grounds, nice views from the front rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast.
The hotel is in an interesting section of the city, with lots of students and many excellent restuarants. Unfortuanately since it was a major holiday weekend, most were closed. On Sunday night there were only two small cafes open to eat at.
There were afew issues that was not the hotel's falt. The dog that lives in the house next to the hotel likes to bark at passing dogs in the evening.
The road is closed infront of the hotel for sewage repairs, so it is dificult to get to the hotel, we had to drag our luggage, about a block along a narrow side walk to get to the hotel. There is no parking available by the hotel. The noise of jack hammers in the morning was a problem. And people banging on the door across the street in the very early morning was an issue.
If you have problems with mobility, you should not stay at this hotel as it is on a hill with steep side walks, there are a lot of steps to get into the hotel, and there is no elevator in the hotel.
