The El Mirador is a "Hospedaje Familiar" (Family Lodge), so don't expect a fancy room or room service. The room has a full kitchen and your choice of beds, a small bathroom and a TV - the room is VERY clean! From the balcony you can view beautiful Valparaiso. The owner, Maria Soledad, is ONE of those especial people - she will work hard to make you feel at home - really treat you like family. One night there was a black-out on half of the country and we were going out for dinner - Maria said we should stay for our safety and we ended having sandwiches and wine at her home table having a great conversation with her and her mother - also a fantastic person to talk too. This place is HIGHLY recommended! Oh, and they have parking - a rare thing in Valparaiso.

Our stay in this fantastic B & B was totally round. The room was clean and silent with good beds and one could have a spectacular view over Valparaiso from the balcony around the apartments. Marisol was helpful in every way and the staff was very friendly. Above all the breakfast was one of the best we got on our half year trip around the world. Great value !

That's a great place to stay in Valparaiso. Maria Soledad made us feel very welcome and helped us with all our special requests. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the breakfast is delicious and fresh, the terrace has got a great view and the hotel has a parking spot (which is not easy to find in Valparaiso). The only thing is that the hotel is not located in historic center so you might have to take a bus or taxi to return from restaurant or club at night.

We are travelling with a baby and 5 year old. Our stay here was extremely comfortable in a beautifully decorated room with good quality beds;best sleep ever! The service was very personalised i.e, breakfast served to you at the table hot,fresh and delicious by Maria and Maria Soledad themselves...much like being with family.They were very accommodating and welcoming to us and the children. The buses are at the next block and go past frequently so getting to and from town is easy.Overall it has been one of the best places we have stayed so far.Jiri and Angela,Waiheke Island, New Zealand
