We stayed here for 4 nights even though we only meant to stay two. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms cleaned every day & we had access to the computer whenever we wanted. The 20000 pesos a night included breakfast. Our host was very friendly and shared his enthusiasm for Valparaiso with us at every opportunity even drawing out routes on the street map for us to follow. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Alecon Fine Hostel is perfectly located in the beautiful area of Cerro Concepcion. All the nice walkways and many good restaurants are in very short distance of the hostel. You can easily wander around the walkways and go on a ride with the famous old elevators in a few minutes. Besides you will get firsthand information on where to go and what to see from the host, but not only the obvious stuff, also things that only someone who really loves his city can know.

Stayed here for three nights in June. Good clean quiet rooms. Location is amazing and Alberto is a superb host. His advice and maps are fantastic for exploring the city. He even helped us plan for the rest of our time in chile. Highly recommended.

We stayed in valpariso a little longer than planned due to this hostel, although more of a b&b. Alberto gave us such a good history of the two places, valpariso and vina del mar that we wanted to stay a little more. It's in a really quiet location on conception hill it's worth the steep walk up. Breakfast is adequate, it's safe and clean. It was a little cold while we were there a heater would of been nice in the room. Alberto is the perfect host and thus made it a memorable stay. We had a great time here.
