Great location, comfortable hostel located near downtown and arts neighborhood on a quiet tree-lined street. Very clean inside and out. Owner is very pleasant, friendly, and efficient.

This is a nice villa with rooms in a nice surroundining in Santiago - we stayed there 2 times for one night. The rooms are good (even some are better - take a look), the hosts are friendly and Max is really helpful and speaks excellent English. We liked it - a good budget option.

Very good value: it is hard to beat $20 / person including breakfast.

The room itself is pretty basic, (who cares), it was fairly cold since there are only 2 individual heaters for the whole B&B, but I slept very well.
The only minor issue is a sewage smell in the bathroom, but this is fairly common in Santiago.

Forgot to mention, very central and safe location, 10 minutes pleasant walk to downtown

A few hooks on the wall, a lamp or 2, a shelf, an extra chair or table, and two water glasses would have been nice. We arrived late and were very thirsty. The kitchen/dining area was locked and there was not a glass in sight. I emptied a small vase filled with pebbles and used it fo a glass. Why bother with the vase on the toilet tank when the rest of the room was like a spartan jail cell.? I opened the door to the hall to go out to sit and read so the one overhead bright light didn't bother my roommate. All lights were out and it was pitch dark. It also would have been nice to walk to the top floor and sit in the patio area but I could not see in the darkness. i would have traded the nice facade for convenience. Don't be fooled by the pictures. it lacks the simplest of amenities and the gal working there was not very congenial.
