“Lovely Hotel in a terrific location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

We spent a day and a night here on our way to Patagonia. This hotel has a great location for walking to many good restaurants, coffee shops and around the town.Since it is in a newer section of the city; we found its' location to the train very helpful for going into the older section , the flea market or the park. . Not too far away was a wonderful Sculpture Park with art work from local artists which we were able to walk to. The hotel was modern in appearance, very clean, spacious and comfortable. They had a very nice restaurant/bar area and an indoor pool on the roof and a gym. We had to leave early in the morning before the regular breakfast hours and they provided us with a lovely breakfast of yogurt, pastries, fruit and coffee. The people t the desk were very accommodating and answered any questions about how to get around the city.

“Average hotel ...with a decent breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012 via mobile

We had a group of 25. The breakfast was big with healthy options. The location is excellent with the metro, some great restaurants and convenience stores close. However no taxi knows how to get there--- so you really will find te metro easiest!
My biggest irritation was safety. Tey handed out my room number to whomever asked and when I lost my room key, gave me a replacement key without asking my name. As a woman traveling solo, that didn't sit well.

“Very comfortable”

A few days stay before visiting the Falklands. A modern, very clean, comfortable and conveniently located central hotel serving an excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. No complaints at all.

Room Tip: I was traveling with about 50 other members of a choir. Good Irish bar nearby.

“A good hotel choice; and good wine!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Check-in was quick; only had to sign a form, which is better than filling out forms at other hotels outside the US.
Good location; lots nearby in walking distance. Quiet.
Room decor was good; mini-fridge, but no coffee maker. Not enough outlets accessible to re-charge things. Bed a little firm, but otherwise comfortable.
Bathroom phone always a plus. Water temperature difficult to control in shower.
Didn't care for the breakfast buffet; coffee is horrible (I use Starbucks Instant coffee).
Wireless interent free.
Fast room service, although food selection seemed unappealing.
About 5 English-speaking channels on TV, including CNN, Fox, BBC and Bloomberg.
I really enjoyed the 2 bottles of Chilean wine for $16 in the room; but NO wine bottle opener!

“A good hotel, conveniently located”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2011

Atton El Bosque is about 35 minutes from the airport (Avoid changing money at the airport booth as they offered much less for your money than in town), and is convenient to a number of good restaurants, convenience stores and shops. About 10 minutes walk to Santiago's top-notch underground / subway system.
A friendly staff.
While the desk had a 2-round prong adapter for my charger, suggest bring a couple of your own so can recharge/use several devices. Pool on the 18th floor offers a spectacular view. The adjacent gym is heavy on aerobic machines, though no free weights. One of the stationary bicycle pedals was broken. A few glitches in the room, but staff was happy to get what could be fixed done up right nearly as soon as they heard about them - refrigerator wasn't working (the replacement didn't work either, and then the door to that one wouldn't open), one wall outlet did not work. A design flaw means sink only drains slowly (the mechanism to open the drain stopped when it bumped the bathroom mirror when drain was only open 1/3 way).
Had excellent buffet breakfast each morning; fruit juices, fruits, coffee, tea, yoghurt, etc.
TV has a broad mix of Spanish and English stations.
Beds clean, though would have preferred a somewhat more firm mattress.
Rooms clean, but floor tile chip told.
Would certainly consider staying here again.
