We went here as part of a honeymoon in South America December 2011. This was our first stop after a 14hr flight, and the hotel was very welcoming.
Located in the centre of town, there are several good restaurants in walking distance, and the metro station is very close also.
Room was clean and although a little basic, was fine for our needs.
Really nice hotel for the money we paid.
Only small issue is they charge a tourist tax if you pay in pesos?..but that was for all hotels in Chile. You're better paying by card or by US dollars if cash.
Really recomment Pizza Nastro down the road and the vegetarian restaurant round the block from the hotel.
