The NH hotel Ciudad de Santiago is located on Avenida Condell, which is close to downtown. The subway station is just two blocks away. On top, the hotel offers a taxi service at a very affordable price. The rooms are huge as they are all suites. They consist of a living room, a bedroom, a walking closet and a bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The hotel also features WiFi internet access in the entire building for free. On top, free parking is offered to all guests staying at the hotel for free at the indoor garage. The only downturn is the wellness center, which is not quite as nice as shown on the pictures, so we did not use it. But I can definitely recommend the hotel and if back in town I will be staying there again.

This is a pretty nice spot. It's a bit hard to get to with all the one way streets though.

I stayed here on 2 occassions as I left Santiago and returned a few days later. They held my bags for me in a secure room.

The staff throughout the place were really helpful. The restaurant, well, not so much. I was pretty disappointed with the food there but it may have been more of the hype than the actual food. If you like salty food, you'll like it here. They had claimed that the restaurant there was one of the best in town. Not so. Not even close actually. Breakfast had enough choices at the buffet that anyone could find something to fill them up, but nothing special. They say they will make you food but good luck finding someone to help you with that. You almost have to track them down. Even then,, it's not worth it.

The room's were both great. Stayed on the 6th floor and the 12th floor. Great view from 12. Best shower's ever! Yay.

First of all, if I could give a two-and-a-half star review I would, but since that option isn't available, might as well be positive. My wife and I started our South American trip checking in here, and we were welcomed to the staff trying to figure out where our reservation was. After producing the confirmation page, checking with the booking manager twice, and trying to double bill us twice, we finally were able to settle the issue.

The hotel is Western-style with spacious rooms and the amenities one would expect. However, when we got to our large room, we quickly found out the the room received the most basic of cleanings - the shower was a bit dirty and there was unknown filth on the telephone in the bathroom. There were other little things that led us to believe that housekeeping might have been on the general strike that was going on throughout the city during our stay.

Aside from the service and lack of cleanliness, NH Santiago was adequate. The location is great, right between 3-4 neighborhoods, and it was very quiet. I was hoping that the service at this hotel wouldn't be like the other NH hotels I've stayed in, but once again I was disappointed. Won't be staying with this chain again if I can help it.

The hotel is quite new and the rooms very comfortable; breakfast is of good quality, although after 3 days you'd rather have more variation; the location is not so central but still OK... However, what impressed me the most was the staff, always so attentive and genuinely warm, something is which is pretty rare.

There are other hotels in Santiago I'd like to try, but I'd gladly go back to the NH too.
