“Great Location...Good Services”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

Though not in the center of Santiago, a short walk from ma quiet neighborhood to Plaza DeArmis and other attractions, makes this a great location. It is also near Bellavista and La Sara for terrific choices in restaurants and bars. The hotel is modern, clean, nice size rooms, great deck with pool, hot, and sauna and a well equipped gym. As this was our last stop after a month in South America, the facilities were important for a little relaxation after full days of sightseeing in a walking city. The front desk was helpful and courteous. They always had at least one English speaking person on duty. The only qualifier is breakfast. We had a deal that included breakfast at a reasonable price. The buffet was "skimpy" at best and if paying separately for it, not worth the price. Overall, we were happy with our choice of hotels!!!!!

Room Tip: High room...on busy street...may be noisy on lower floors

“Stunning views, excellent service with a smile”

Unfortunately we only stayed one night when our inter-connecting flight was delayed. So pleased we had the opportunity to be put up at this magnificent hotel, courtesy of LAN. Thank you so much. Arriving dog-tired at 2a.m. we were given an option of cooked meals. The freshly prepared salmon and chips was absolutely mouth-watering (definitely not 'fish and chips' per say!). The view from our room (snow-capped mountains) was spectacular, to say the least. The room was beautifully decorated, extremely spacious, spotless and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was six star. Staff were informative, efficient and friendly. The location of this hotel is ideal, in close walking distance to the cable car, restaurants, bars, markets et al. Dinner was excellent. I have never had a better risotto nor steak, for that matter. Would most highly recommend this hotel even if it happened to be above one's budget. Best treat one could give themselves, for a night or two!

“Expected high standards and they delivered”

Was so relieved to bask in the comfort of this hotel after a previous bad experience
THE GOOD:
* Arrived at 11am and although checkin is 3pm they had a room ready immediately which met my requests, ie north facing, high floor.
* Entire wall of floor to ceiling window with great view of Santa Christobal hill and city
* Great bathroom with superior toiletries.
* Divine king bed.
* 32" flat screen to watch the New Hampshire primary.
* A coffee from room service came with a platter of assorted cookies and eclairs.
* A reception spent some time with me going through the various tours available and making calls as to availability.
* When I became ill a concierge was dispatched to take me in the hotel car to a nearby hospital clinic and translate for me. He fast-tracked me through the processes and one hour later I was back at the hotel having seen a doctor and had a prescription filled.

THE NOT SO GOOD:
* Only one gripe - I think the inroom Wifi should be free, as in other 5 star hotels.

A very enjoyable stay all round.

Room Tip: North facing avoids any direct sun and has great views of Santa Christobal hill.

“Good location”

The location is good for walking to restaurants in the Bella Vista area. Breakfast in the hotel was very limited with mainly continental and a few hot dishes. The restaurant is also available for dinner. We used it once and the food was very good but a little expensive.
The rooms are clean and the bathroom was modern and in a good state. We had views over the city.

Room Tip: Front and high for best views

“Beautiful hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

The hotel was great. The rooms were nicely sized, well furnished, and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You could obtain free internet time on the hotel's computers in the lobby--this was a nice surprise as we did not travel with a laptop. The hotel was conveniently located between 2 stops of the Metro Red Line. The lively restaurant and club scene in Bella Vista was only about a 15 minute walk away. My only somewhat negative comment is that we could not find an alternative location for breakfast near the hotel. Breakfast was available in the hotel at about US$ 10 per person, but we wanted to try a more local fare.
