My stay was an extended trip, of about 60 days. I initially only booked the apartment for two weeks, but my business in Santiago required me to stay longer. I kept extending the departure date, and the management was always very responsive. The location was ideal for my business. I did not have a vehicle, and the Metro stop was about 2 blocks away. Even with the lower costs for Taxis in Santiago, the proximity to the Metro likely saved me hundreds of dollars in Taxi fares. During my stay, I locked my keys in the apartment. I returned to the apartment, and called management. They had someone bring me spare keys and I was in the apartment in less than 15 minutes after I called. The WiFi in the apartment was absolutely essential to my stay. My balcony overlooked a rustic cobblestone street that was very quiet. (except during garbage collection) A short walk to a supermarket. Frankly, the only way I could understand someone giving these apartments a negative review is if they were unaccustomed to booking apartments when traveling. When staying in apartments as opposed to hotels, there are differences. I simply like the advantages of apartments over hotels.
