This is a full-housekeeping hotel (except for laundry, which is inexpensive through the hotel, but not available on Sundays.) I found it to be a great taste of 'home, and thoroughly enjoyed my time here'. I could shop at the nearby supermarket and mall, and make simple meals as a change from eating out. There's a Redbanc nearby with an ATM open all hours.
The rooms are huge, with windows that open to the street below and overlooking a long arm of the Pacific Ocean, where a steady stream of visitors to the extensive boardwalk fronting the bay making for good people-watching.
Chileans, it seems, make good use of their public spaces, and families, toddlers and teens gathered here most hours of the day.
A very good breakfast was served in the dining room located on the top floor of the tower side of the hotel. My room was on the third floor, so I could easily walk down the wide staircase to the lobby.
There was internet service using an ancient PC in a tiny room. If I paid for it, it was such a small amount I have forgotten.
I longed for this hotel and its convenient amenities for weeks afterwards when I stayed in conventional hotel rooms.
