Cut to the chase - it's the greatest food centre in Singapore. I can hear howls of protests but this is my personal take on the variety of great hawker food they have within a single food court. I think the wonton mee (Kok Kee) is too pricey though tasty. Go for the beef stall if you're into that. The old Whitley Road fish ball stall is great and has kept its standard from decades ago when it was under a highway flyover along, where else, Whitley Road. Also dig in to the fried carrot cake (I love the "white" version) & popiah right next to it. Go there hungry!!
