Rooms are very small, the shower is literally over the toilet. The location is very near the MRT and it took about 40 mins from the airport, but it was easy to find in the dark at close to midnight. Staff was very accomodating and helpful. AC did have some issues, but all in all for a nights sleep in Singapore I can't complain about less than 70 USD a night.

We've been here for 3 nights. Reception staffs are accommodating and gave us tips were to exchange our money to get a better deal.
Rooms are quite small. My mom and siblings stayed in a room at the 2nd floor and the AC was not working properly. Door to the balcony won't open. They don't have any views from their hotel room. My husband and I stayed in 7th floor and had a view of the main street in front of the hotel.
Toilets are too small -- water all over when taking a shower and the area outside the toilet becomes wet too.
Housekeeping not too good.
Nothing to brag about their complimentary breakfast. We need to fall in line before 7am to get a table right away, otherwise, you will wait outside for the others to finish.

The mattress - it's made of plastic for easy wiping down. It's awful to sleep on, in fact we didn't sleep the first night as it was too uncomfortable.

We paid 160 Sing Dollar - decide for your self if that is worth it for this average hotel.

Believe me, for the price, this hotel deserver 5 star rating. This is one ot the cheapest hotels in the Singapore but it looks to be newly refurbished, very tidy, not only the rooms but the corridors too.

Breakfasts are incluced in the price. They were really great, server by an efficient staff. I have to admire an older chinese man, that was really kind to us and very attentative.

Hotel has just amazing roof-top swimming pool. I am including nice pics of it. Most of the time there was nobody by the pool, and there is very nice view over the Singapore from the roof.

Hotel is close proximity to Dhoby Ghat (around 500m), so it is easily accesible if you are arriving from any part of the city or from the airport. And the same is for planning to go to the Orchard street that starts right at Dhoby Ghaut.

As other reviewers mentioned, rooms are very small (even smaller than the one we stayed at Hong Kong!!!) but if you wish to use it only to sleep, it is OK.

All in all grat and well priced hotel for much better price than Bencoolen hotel that we used previous time...
