Stayed in Grand Haytt Singapore for 3 nights end of last week. Excellent stay by all means & all standards! Absolutely nothing to complain about! Just want to mention 3xthings that really amazed me during my stay:

1/ Mezzanine Restaurant is simply EXCELLENT…Never tasted such very fresh sea food, it just melts in your mouth! it was sooooo DELICIOUS! Service was quick and top-notch! A MUST TRY!

2/ Concierge: a special thanks to all of the staff but especially Gwen …What a great associate and hotel should be proud to have such professional & dedicated employee Asked for info about a theme park in my last day in SG, she ended up arranging everything for me in few minutes …You would say it's normal, it's her job??? Ok this is the thing: I've almost checked out from the hotel by then and my CC didn’t work over the phone for some security reasons, she immediately offered to pay with her personal CC so I could get my ticket & express pass quickly !!!!!!! That was astonishing & above all expectations!! (And trust me don't think that even the Ritz concierge won't do that!!!) Really astonishing!!

3/ Housekeeping: they are like ghosts! Yes like ghosts! So discret and so efficient! First day my room was a huge mess (broke a glass, towels everywhere, cigarettes, mini-bar, room service, etc)! Went out but returned back to my room after like 15minutes ...Surprise:.It was impeccably clean & neat! Really amazing!!!! In just 15mintues! Me? I would have spent the entire day cleaning! So hat's off to the 6th floor team !!

The rest is just great i.e. Pool & Gym (No comments + Service EXCELLENT!), Check-in (very smooth, quick and very professional (less than 3minutes!)), Room (spacious, opulently furnished, loved the office corner with view over the pool (#692), the closet is communicating with the toilette (very handy!), Location (perfect within few meters from ION shopping mall, Orchard Station, lots of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs), Pub in the basement (Brix, very nice, great music & live band, classy & clean. Service is again PERFECT!)

Note:Need to pay for internet connection ...But it's fine and remain reasonable (25SGD/24hours)

In few words: JUST EXCELLENT! If you can afford the price (Average: 500SGD/night for normal room), then I would recommend it without the slightest hesitation to everyone: business travelers, solo travelers, honeymooners, group of friends/colleagues, seniors, etc. Definitely coming back!
