The room is a bit dirty with some stains on the wall, curtains & bathroom. Totally the opposite of the lobby lounge..modern & clean.

The staff at the front desk/reception didn't seem to know what they're doing (slow & unskilled), also a bit rude. Not many smiley faces but the concierge guys friendly & helpful.

We stayed here in December 2012. Our bags were taken on arrival as we proceeded to check-in. The next time we saw them was in our rooms which were decidedly cooler than the outdoor temperature. The room was sufficient in space and very reasonable in presentation but were all in the process of being upgraded to be fair. They were still still perfectly ok to stay in and were nice and clean. The view over the Quay was fantastic and looked even better as dark fell and the city lit up. Definitely one of those picture post-card views. We dined in the hotel for breakfast daily and found the selection catered for most with ample foods being available. We ordered room service one night, this was reasonable but nothing to rave about by any means. The hotels location was great and virtually above a supermarket for any supplies etc which may be required. the scariest thing i found was the price of beer but that's not for all i suppose. Would definitely return here. We had the chance to meet with one of the hotels managers and he gave us great tourist advice along with a peek at some of the room modifications taking place. it was in fact very good to meet with this person ( John Chetty ) as he arranged for Taxi delivery to the Airport of some items I had foolishly left behind so a special thank you to you John for that and the city guidance.
